Lionel Messi SPEAKS OUT: Blasts Barcelona AGAIN, Pep Guardiola Talks, Next Club?

Lionel Messi has revealed that he is still in close talks with former Coach Pep Guardiola, amid claims of a summer transfer to Manchester City, MySportDab reports.

The Greatest Barcelona footballer of all-time is out of contract at the end of the current season and he looks set to finally leave the Spanish club.

Messi tried to leave last summer after sending Barcelona a burofax, which revealed his plan to quit the club.

Barcelona rejected his request and Messi was forced to stay at Barcelona, despite asking for the club to honour a clause in his contract that would allow him to leave anytime.

He could have taken Barcelona to court but, Messi decided it was not worth the chaos.

Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are the two top clubs more likely to sign Lionel Messi next summer.

They are the only clubs in world football besides Real Madrid that could pay his salary.

Now, if Messi decides against signing a contract extension before the season ends, more clubs are expected to show interest.

The 33-year-old has been asked about his future in a new interview and he revealed he won’t make a decision until the end of the season.

Messi said to La Sexta: “No, Nothing is certain until the end of the season. Let’s see how we perform this season.”

He was also asked if he still taks to Pep Guardiola some times.

“I’m not sure how long my last chat with Pep Guardiola was, but we talk,” Messi said.

“We don’t talk about whether we are going to meet again. For me Pep is the best, he has something special.”

Messi has refused to give a direct answer when asked about his next club after leaving Barcelona.

But, now Messi loves the American adventure in the MLS.

He said: “I would love to play in the United States, it’s one of those dreams… but I’m not sure if it will happen!”

‘It was about making a point and letting my feelings be known,’ Messi told La Sexta while speaking about his exit saga.

‘I told the club that I wanted to leave I felt it was time to leave a club that had given me everything.

“I want to win more titles and fight for the Champions League trophies and felt a change was necessary. The president then started to create a negative picture of me.”

Messi also discussed Luis Suárez’s exit to rivals Atletico Madrid.

‘The situation of Luis Suarez to Atletico Madrid was shocking.!

‘He left for nothing, paid the remaining years of his contract here and joined a team that fight for same thing as us. It’s absolutely Unbelievable.’
