Anthony Joshua has now defeated Kubrat Pulev and is more focused on Tyson Fury next, MySportDab reports.
Anthony Joshua beat Kubrat Pulev to keep his outrageous world heavyweight titles and now looks ahead to a potential fight against Tyson Fury.
AJ knocked out Pulev in the ninth round of the fight with a powerful knockout.
At the start, Anthony Joshua dominated the fight and knocked Pulev down twice in the third round but the Bulgarian showed shocking resilience to get back up to continue.
With Floyd Mayweather watching on, AJ showed his class with a clinical finish to end the fight.
Joshua is now looking forward to a unification bout against Tyson Fury in 2021 although that fight is yet to be officially confirmed.
Oleksandr Usyk is a likely challenger for one of Anthony’s Joshua’s belts but fans want him to step in the ring with Fury next.
After the victory, Joshua asked fans to decide who he would next face, and most of them said Fury’s name.
He said: “Whoever has the belt, I want that belt. If that is Tyson Fury, So be it!”
Joshua also spoke about the win against Pulev.
He explained: “Less talking, more real action. I hope everyone enjoyed it tonight.
“For me, I did what I do best, boxing. You ask the crowd what they want!”
Anthony’s Promoter Eddie Hearn also revealed that he’d do everything possible to make the Fury fight happen.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “From tomorrow, we start working on the Tyson Fury fight immediately.
“Joshua is clearly the best in the world. We know what we must do, we must start to get it done.”
