BREAKING! Real Madrid Star Eden Hazard, Casemiro Test Positive For CoronaVirus!

Spanish club Real Madrid have now confirmed that Eden Hazard and Casemiro have both tested positive for coronavirus, MySportDab reports.

Hazard has struggled to make an impact at Real Madrid since his transfer from Chelsea in 2019, with different injury problems.

The 29-year-old only recently returned to Zidane’s team after a calf injury left him unavailable for a long time.

But, Hazard and Brazilian team-mate Casemiro will now miss the match against Valencia on Sunday.

A statement from Real Madrid, read: ‘Real Madrid C. F. Can confirm that our players Casemiro and Hazard have both tested positive in the Covid-19 test carried out on Friday morning.

‘All the other players and staffs from the first team, employees of the club who have worked directly with them all tested negative.’

The news is not a shocker because Real Madrid defender Eder Militao also recently tested positive for Covid-19, and he too will miss the match on Sunday at Mestalla.

Hazard had been recalled to the Belgium squad for the forthcoming international matches despite being injured after 65 minutes in Madrid’s 3-2 win against Inter Milan FC on Tuesday.

‘Eden has been positive since his return, he has already played two matches with Real Madrid and has a very good feeling,’ Belgium Coach Martinez said.

Hazard is the Belgium national team captain but the country will now face Switzerland, England and Iceland without their star man.

Last week, Hazard scored in Real Madrid’s 4-1 win against Huesca last weekend, and ended his 392 days wait for another goal.

It was his second goal for Real Madrid since he joined from Chelsea, back in 2019.
