OMG! Mesut Ozil Left Out Of Arsenal Europa League Squad (See Details)

Mesut Ozil and Sokrates have been left out of Arsenal squad for the Europa League this season as both men wont be taking part, MySportDab reports.

The highest paid Gunners player have been omitted from the squad just days after he pledged to pay the team mascot wages.

Mikel Arteta who submitted the list few hours ago have left out Mesut Ozil and defender Sokrates.

This comes as no surprise with the German player not getting any game time since project restart back in June.

Questions have also been asked due to the fact that he is the club highest paid player in Arsenal but yet he won’t be taking part.

Mesut Ozil recently made the pledge to pay Gunnersaurus wages until he is no more at the Emirates few days ago.

Ozil’s last appearance for Arsenal came in the win against West Ham in March when football was suspended.

When asked about the midfielder absence from the team, Arteta Said: “The team is evolving, you can see the level they are achieving.

This is where we are at the moment. We want to evolve more and play better and compete better.

“You can see that the players we are changing, we are using, it’s very difficult every week not just for Mesut .

But for some other players as well to make the squad. Every week we try to pick the right players.

He also added:

“It’s difficult for others as well that aren’t involved in the Premier League and didn’t play tonight either.

We have a squad of 26, 27 players at the moment and we can’t give playing time to all of them.

“I understand and I respect your questions but I have to try to do my job as fair as possible.

I try to select the players that are, in my opinion, in better condition.”
