Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been fined £600 by the UK police, MySportDab reports.

Wan-Bissaka was caught speeding at over 104mph during the second week of lockdown.

The Manchester United player was travelling into London when he was stopped in his G-wagon on the motorway.

Wan-Bissaka was handed a punishment by the magistrates court in Bromley, and he was asked to pay additional fees of £160.

The Police Officer who stopped Wan-Bissaka said: ‘The car was travelling at a speed I estimated to be over (70mph).’

The officer also revealed that Wan-Bissaka did not say anything after being cautioned, with the 22-year-old guilty for the charge.

Wan-Bissaka’s case was dealt with last month with the single justice procedure.

One month after his incident, the Metropolitan Police asked the public to stop speeding after a rise in overspeeding offences during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Wan-Bissaka is currently with Manchester United after he was not called up by Gareth Southgate for the England squad.

The right-back is currently behind the pecking order in the England squad.

The likes of Kyle Walker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kieran Trippier, and Reece James was included in the Three Lions squad.
