But Real Madrid remain hopeful of securing Kylian Mbappe from PSG in the summer of 2021, according to reports from AS.
Mbappe’s deal is up in 2022, which could make him available in 12 months for a much cheaper price in the market.
While his club are eager to tie him down in the long term, Madrid are ready to pounce on any weakness to sign the prolific player.
They believe Mbappe will help their side both in terms of performance on the pitch and off the pitch.
He is believed to be the total package for them just like Cristiano Ronaldo before joining Juventus.
They won’t be the only team looking to get the youngster by then as reports of other top teams eyeing the former Monaco player.
