DONE DEAL: Liverpool Agree To Sign Wolves Star Diego Jota For £45m (Details)

Liverpool have now reach an agreement with Wolves for their third summer signing, MySportDab reports. 

The Reds have agreed a deal with Wolves for Striker Diogo Jota.

Liverpool were previously quiet in the transfer window up to now.

Left-back Kostas Tsimikas joined the club as cover for Andy Robertson.

But Jurgen Klopp claimed that big-money signings at Anfield are unlikely due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On Friday, Liverpool finally agreed a deal with Bayern Munich and signed midfielder Thiago Alcantara.

And now, Liverpool have continued with another big transfer deal.

According to MySportDab sources, Liverpool have reached an agreement to pay £45m for Wolves striker Diego Jota.

Jota has already agreed a five-year contract at Anfield and is set to undergo his medical on Saturday.

Liverpool will pay a £41m upfront, but Wolves have agreed to different payment terms.

Goal claim that Liverpool will only pay £4m over the next 12 months.

The 23-year-old Jota has impressed for Wolves in the Premier League since his transfer in 2017.

Diego Jota will provide provide back-up for Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.

Liverpool will earn back £13m after they agreed to sell 18-year-old Ki-Jana Hoever to Wolves.
