Chelsea Reject Inter Milan Swap Deal Offer For N’Golo Kante

Chelsea have rejected Inter Milan’s offer which includes Christian Eriksen and Marcelo Brozovic for midfielder N’Golo Kante, MySportDab reports.

Inter Milan want Kante to anchor their midfield in the Serie A next season season and he is now their primary target.

However, Chelsea are only ready to sell Jorginho not Kante and don’t want either Eriksen or Brozovic in their squad.

Inter don’t have much to spend this summer and must work out possible swap deal without too much cash to offer.

Former Tottenham play Eriksen has failed to impress at Inter Milan after his £18m move in January.

Now, Inter Milan are ready to offload the Denmark International even though he is happy in Italy.

Chelsea have alot of midfield options though would love to add the likes of West Ham’s Declan Rice and Lille’s Boubakary Soumare to the squad.

Jorginho is considered as a liability and after their spending spree this summer, Lampard knows the club must balance their financial books.

A cash bid for N’Golo Kante, instead of swap deals, would be considered while players like Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek may leave Chelsea before the transfer window closes.

But, Frank Lampard recently said he wanted to keep Kante at the club.

Also, AC Milan want to sign Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea.

The Blues are also working on a deal with Rennes for Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
