PSG Open Talks With Man Utd Loanee Odion Ighalo Representatives

Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a shock move for Manchester United loan player Odion Ighalo, MySportDab reports.

The 31-year-old striker has attracted interest from France during his loan spell at United with five goals so far.

The Nigerian signed a loan extension deal to stay at the club until January.

However, PSG are considering Ighalo as a possible replacement for Edinson Cavani.

PSG Sporting Director Leonardo has a list of possible players to sign and could explore the possibility of a Cristiano Ronaldo transfer.

But, According to French Newspaper Foot Mercato, PSG have already made contact with Odion Ighalo’s representatives.

The French champions spent £52m to sign Mauro Icardi from Inter Milan on a permanent deal earlier in the summer summer but the French club want another attacking player to provide competition.

19-year-old youngster Arnaud Kalimuendo has been promoted to the first-team squad ahead of the 2020-21 season but PSG still want a more experienced player.

Ighalo fits that description and would be a cheaper alternative instead of other players.

Meanwhile, Edinson Cavani is still without a new club after seven-years at PSG.

Premier league club Leeds were ready to sign the 33-year-old but they face a difficult task to get his transfer completed.
