The midfielder have been left out of France National team after news of him being affected by the virus.

The 27-year-old had been named in the world champions’ squad for upcoming fixtures.

They play against Croatia and Sweden but he has now been forced out of consideration for selection.

Paul Pogba has been replaced in Deschamps’ squad by Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

While fellow France team mate Tanguy Ndombele of Tottenham Hotspur also misses out after testing positive for Covid-19.

It means Pogba will have to spend 14 days in isolation before being allowed to come in contact with anyone.

He will miss the start of Man United’s pre-season preparations, which will begin next week.

It came following their extended 2019/20 season as they reached the Europa League semi-finals.

It was earlier today reported that four Chelsea players have also tested positive with the team going into self isolation.

It seems like the virus might force the new season to be postponed due to the high amount of confirmed cases.
