Man Utd Star Eric Bailly Leaves Hospital After Head Injury In 3-1 Chelsea Loss

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has been discharged from a London hospital after his head injury on Sunday, MySportDab reports. 

Bailly suffered a head concussion in United’s 3-1 FA Cup semi-final loss against Chelseaon Sunday.

However, the Ivorian was allowed to travel back to Manchester on Monday.

The Ivory Coast international is unlikely to play in United’s Premier League match against West Ham on Wednesday due to the safety guidelines.

Bailly needed treatment twice close to the end of the first half at Wembley after a serious of head clashes with Kurt Zouma and United team-mate Harry Maguire.

The 26-year-old was treated immediately on the pitch for concussion and had to be stretched off.

But, Bailly has now posted a positive message to fans with a picture of him giving the thumbs up after being discharged from hospital.

He wrote: ‘Thank you for the support messages. I am now fine, just a scare. I feel the pain of our loss even more.

‘But we have to improve and focus on the two key games we have this week.’

Manchester United started the Chelsea game with a back-three but changed back to the usual 4-2-3-1 formation once Bailly could not play on.

The Red Devils play next against West Ham on Wednesday in the Premier League as the Champions League race continues.
