‘If someone calls for a fight, it’s a done deal, even at 80 years old, if someone calls his name, he’s fighting surely.’
The bout was initially agreed two months ago, and Toole added: ‘Roy called me around 11.30 at night, a month and a half ago, and told me he’d sealed the fight, he was fighting against Tyson and he sent me a clip of them signing the contracts on Zoom.’
Jones Jr still has to pass medical tests in California, with paperworks already submitted for them this week.
According to Yahoo Sports, the boxing fight will happen at the Dignity Health Sports Park in California, USA.
The fighters will not wear headgear but will wear larger gloves.
