“Going Nowhere” – Paris Saint-Germain Confident Neymar And Kylian Mbappe Will STAY

Paris Saint-Germain Sporting director Leonardo is confident that both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar will sign new long-term contracts, MySportDab reports.

Kyluan Mbappe has been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Liverpool, while team-mate Neymar is also the subject of interest from Barcelona.

Mbappe and Neymar contracts expire in 2022, and the Ligue 1 Champions could be forced to sell them next summer if the duo fail to sign new contracts at the Parc des Princes.

But Sporting director Leonardo hopes it won’t come to that and has insisted Thomas Tuchel’s team are not prepared to lose Mbappe and Neymar.

‘There are no signs they’ll leave this summer,’ Leonardo said.

‘They still have two years left on their PSG contracts and we’re already working on what next to do. We want to always move forward.

‘Mbappe is PSG’s future. That is what we all want. It would be ideal for him to extend his contract.

‘He’s now among the best five footballers in the word. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are 35 and 32, Mbappe and Neymar are 21 and 28 and they here.

‘There’s no need to think about it. We have to must proper use of them because they are very important. We need a new solution to continue working together.’

28-year-old Neymar was desperate to join LaLiga giants Barcelona last smer but the move never happened.

PSG director Leonardo also confirmed that the club’s all-time record goalscorer Edinson Cavani and Thiago Silva will leave the club in the summer
