NO WAY! Manchester United £90m Bid For Barcelona Star Ansu Fati Rejected

Manchester United were ready to sign Barcelona winger Ansu Fati as Jadon Sancho’s alternative in the summer transfer window but Barcelona rejected the £90m offer, MySportDab reports.

Borussia Dortmund have made it clear they won’t sell Jadon Sancho for any fee less than £100m, which has led United to considering other alternatives.

Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to add more quality to his attacking options ahead of next season.

And According to Spanish Newspaper SPORT, Manchester United turned their attention on a possible transfer for Ansu Fati.

MySportDab understands that Fati has grown frustrated because of his lack of playing time in the first team.

Given Barcelona’s interest in Lautaro Martinez, along with the likes of Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele returning back, Fati is now ready to leave the Camp Nou.

Ansu Fati’s agent, Jorge Mendes contacted Barcelona in order to get an asking price for clubs interested.

MySportDab can confirm that Mendes returned two weeks on with a bid of £90m, which United were ready to pay for Ansu Fati.

The offer was rejected immediately by Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu without considering the bid.

Barcelona believe Ansu Fati can grow and become a key player in the first team and won’t sell him for less than £151m.

Ansu Fati has broken into the Barcelona first-team this season, and started nine La Liga games.

At 17 years of age, Fati is seen as one of Europe’s best young players and a possible Ballon D’or Award winner.
