REVEALED: How Man Utd Star Bruno Fernandes Holds The Key To Paul Pogba’s Future

The Manchester United hierarchy believe that Paul Pogba’s midfield partnership with Bruno Fernandes could prove key in his long term future, MySportDab reports.

Pogba and Fernandes have not played together due to his injury and the coronavirus pandemic which stopped sporting activities.

The France midfielder has now recovered and believes his partnership with Fernandes can be a crucial thing for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.

Fernandes has hit the ground running at United since his transfer Sporting Lisbon in the January transfer window.

Pogba’s contract is expected to expire at the end of next season but United can still extend his contract by another 12 months.

The Red Devils are yet to activate that clause, which would stop Pogba from signing a pre-contract agreement with another club from January.

Although, United are still expected to trigger the clause at the end of the current season to protect his value.

Pogba’s future has been unclear for months now amid links of a move to Real Madrid and a Juventus return.

However, MySportDab understands that playing alongside Bruno Fernandes will become a key factor for Pogba to reconsider his future.

If the duo can perform very well together when the Premier League resumes, Manchester United are willing to offer Pogba a long term new contract.

Despite the financial crisis because of the coronavirus, Pogba remains one of the most wanted footballers in the world.

Manchester United want around £100million for their Star player, a fee that would be difficult due to the current global crisis.

So a great start to the Pogba/Fernandes partnership could become a key factor in the 27-year-old’s long-term future.
