Manchester City Ready To Let Leroy Sane Leave For FREE

Manchester City won’t sell winger Leroy Sane cheap and would let his contract expire in 2021 if Bayern Munich refuse to pay a reasonable fee, MySportDab reports.

Leroy Sane has just one year left on his contract with the Ethiad club and are unhappy at Bayern Munich’s approach to sign their player.

City are not ready to be forced into selling the 24-year-old after reports in Germany claimed Bayern Munich were ready to pay £35m for Sane.

That £35m bid has been dismissed by club sources, who claim that Pep Guardiola is happy for Sane to be his squad for next season despite his future being uncertain.

Manchester City’s contract extension offer remains on the table for Sane..

City believe Sane is worth around £140m despite the fact Bayern made their interest known in 2019.

No club would be willing to pay such a fee for the player because his contract will soon expire and also the coronavirus pandemic impact on transfers.

Sane has not played since August’s Community Shield match after an anterior knee ligament damage.

His new agent recently revealed that Bayern Munich are the only German club he would like to join despite clubs around the world monitoring his situation closely.

MySportDab understands that his representatives have agreed a five-year contract terms with Bayern, but City would rather lose him free in 2021 than sell him cheap.
