Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho has resumed training for the first time since German football was suspended, MySportDab reports. 

German clubs started training since last month with restrictions before full training returns and matches this may.

The Bundesliga will now resume with matches on May 15th after the German Government allowed to ease lockdown restrictions in the country.

Three FC Köln players did test positive for Covid-19 last week but other clubs have continued to train with players and staffs continue to get regular tests.

However, Sancho was seen in training on Monday part of some sessions as Dortmund try to get their players back fit after a long unexpected break from football.

Other Borussia Dortmund players present at training on Monday include Erling Haaland, Mario Gotze and Mats Hummels.

On Wednesday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel is expected to officially ease the lockdown restrictions by allowing to large shops to reopen maybe from May 11 and also allow the German Bundesliga resume games without fans. .

It remains unknown how long Jadon Sancho will remain a Borussia Dortmund player amid transfer links to various European clubs across the world.

Dortmund have set an asking price of £100million for the England international with several clubs from the Premier League desperate to sign him.

Manchester United remain the likely favorites to sign the winger but Chelsea and Real Madrid are still interested in Sancho.

20-year-old Sancho has scored 14 league goals and provided 16 assists before the Bundesliga season was suspended.

His contract at Dortmund expires in 2022 which means the German club are not in any hurry to sell their key player this summer.
