BREAKING! Liverpool Reacts After Premier League SUSPENDED Due To CoronaVirus!

Liverpool have accepted the Premier League’s decision to postpone all matches in England until after April 3 with doubts on when they could still win the title, MySportDab reports.

Liverpool had planned to finally win the Premier League title on Monday’s Merseyside Derby match against Everton before the suspension was announced.

Now, Jurgen Klopp’s team will have to wait until at least next month to win their first Premier League title in 30 years.

Should the Premier League resume according to plans after April 3, Liverpool’s next match will be against rivals Manchester City.

Given Liverpool need only six points to win the title, they could secure the Premier League with a win at the Etihad stadium.

But fans are still concerned on whether the Premier League will be able to restart as early as after April 3rd.

MySportDab can confirm that Premier League clubs were involved in talks ahead of the announcement games would be suspended for a few weeks.

And Liverpool have now released a statement saying they’re in support of the decision.

The Liverpool statement read: “Liverpool Football Club has continued to implement the government’s advice on the coronavirus pandemic and welcomes today’s Premier League decision to postpone all matches, including Premier League, Academy, FA Cup and Women’s Super League games in the best interests of fans, players and staffs.

“The club has implemented precautions across its property to avoid the spread of the coronavirus by reducing contact where necessary and reinforcing the official medical advice for everyone to take responsibility for personal hygiene.

“Liverpool FC has also announced the LFC Legends match against Barça Legends set for Saturday March 28 at Anfield has also been postponed.

“Anyone displaying symptoms of the coronavirus should ensure they make use of the chief medical officer’s advice on self-isolation.”
