Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has blasted midfielder Paul Pogba’s agent and is also unsure about his fitness, MySportDab reports.
The World Cup winner has been tipped to quit Old Trafford in the summer.
MySportDab understands that Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola last week revealed he’s in talks with Juventus over a possible return to Italy.
Pogba, who has struggled with injuries this campaign, is determined to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.
And Solskjaer has hinted Pogba is determined to play for United.
When asked if Pogba will still play for United, the Norwegian was unable to give an answer.
“Well, yes, I’d like to say that, as soon as he’s fit, he’ll be good to play for the team,” Solskjaer said.
“I’m very sure Paul is desperate to play for us again.”
Pogba last played for United in their Boxing Day win against Newcastle at Old Trafford back in December.
The 26-year-old did undergo an ankle surgery earlier this year and then missed United’s winter break trip to Spain.
However, Solskjaer refused to give a reason why the 26-year-old was absent.
Solskjaer said: “I don’t have to explain or justify every decision.
“He’s been in and out, and of course I am ok with him doing his recovery somewhere else.
“As a football, the last thing anyone wants is to be injured. Paul’s a top footballer and he wants to play football.
He knows he needs to work very hard now to get back to his best. He’s been unable to play for so long now, it’s a challenge for him as well to get back into shape.
“Paul’s a very important player for us, but also we’ve leary alot about the others.
“Some have truly stepped up and taken on this responsibility and shown what they can be very helpful, so there’s always a chance.”
Manchester United play next on Monday evening against Chelsea in the Premier League.
