Bosnia 4-1 Finland, Pjanic Scores Double As Pukki Fires Blank

Miralem Pjanic bagged a brace and hit the crossbar, as Bosnia-Herzegovina beat the Republic of Finland 4-1 in Italy’s euro 2020 qualifying group.

The Juventus midfielder was influential during this evening’s home triumph, which permits Bosnia and Herzegovina to shut at intervals 2 points of second-placed Republic of Finland in group J.

Pjanic converted a penalty and discharged in a right chest and volley, whereas his place kick bounced off the woodwork.

Izet Hajrovic and Armin Hodzic rounded out the scoreline before a late consolation goal for the Republic of Finland from Joel Pohjanpalo.

Italy stays six points clear and may mathematically secure their qualification tonight by beating Greece.

The battle is on for the second qualifying spot, as the Republic of Finland currently has twelve points, Bosnia and Herzegovina ten and Armenia (with a game in hand) 9.

Greece is on five and will play at the Stadio Olimpico this night.
