Cristiano Ronaldo Slams Leo Messi: "I Have Won The Champions League At Different Clubs"

Juventus Star Cristiano Ronaldo has aimed a dig at his rival Lionel Messi by stating that he has "won the Champions League at different clubs", MySportDab reports.

Ronaldo has won the Champions League five times in his career. His first came with Manchester United in 2008, while the other four were with Real Madrid.

Ronaldo edges Messi by one, who has four Champions League titles.

The 32-year-old Argentine has spent his entire career at Barcelona and he lasted lifted the prestigious trophy back in 2015.

"(Messi) is an excellent player who will be remembered not only for the Golden Balls, but for always being up,year after year, like me, said Ronaldo.

"The difference with me is that I have played indifferent clubs and also won the Champions League with different clubs, "Cristiano Ronaldo explained in the documentary series 'The Making Of' by DAZN.

The Portuguese delved into the link he maintains with the maximum continental competition, remembering that he has been the maximum gunner of the Champions "six times in a row."

"There are not many players who have five Champions titles and that is why I think I identify with this competition," said the Juventus striker.

On his relationship with his latest coach at Real Madrid, the Frenchman Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo said he made him "feel special."

"He didn't change my way of playing. I was still the same player. Obviously, Zidane helped me. I liked him a lot as a person and when he became my coach and I knew him better I became even more Zidane fan.
