Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Will Be Named Manchester United Full-time Manager

Manchester United have decided Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the man for the job and will appoint him as full-time manager in the summer, according to reports.

Solskjaer met with one of Glazers' who own Manchester United Saturday following the 3-0 win over Fulham in London and is now the top candidate for the job.

According to The Sun, both Glazers - Avram and Joel - are ready to give Solskjaer the keys to the city, but could delay an announcement until the summer.

Mauricio Pochettino was the overwhelming favourite for the job when Jose Mourinho was sacked in December.

Manchester United face a huge couple of weeks with PSG in the Champions League, Chelsea in the FA Cup next Monday and Liverpool close.

The Red Devils also face Arsenal and Manchester City in March as they battle for a place in the top four.

United were 11 points off the pace in the race for the Champions League when Solskjaer came in but are now ahead with Chelsea and Arsenal both having played the same number of games for the first time.

United are now a point above both of their rivals and, crucially, they are now ahead of Chelsea on goal difference after their 6-0 humiliation against Manchester City.

MySportDab report when Mourinho was sacked United’s goal difference was zero, Now it’s 17.
