Chelsea identify Zinedine Zidane As Coach Maurizio Sarri Replacement

Chelsea are reportedly eyeing a move for former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane as a replacement for Maurizio Sarri.

Zidane quit the Real Madrid role in the summer after winning a third successive Champions League trophy at the Bernabeu.

Sarri, who's team lost 6-0 at Manchester City is the next likely manager to be sacked in the Premier League, while Zidane is now a favorite for the role.

Chelsea shocking loss leaves them in 6th and According to The Sun, Maurizio Sarri is running out of backers among the Stamford Bridge hierarchy.

The Sun reports that talks have taken place among top brass at Chelsea about when they should make their move for Zidane.

It is not just form that is troubling Chelsea fans and board members right now.

The future of star player Eden Hazard is also a serious concern, with the Belgian in the final 18 months of his contract and seemingly keen on a move to Real.

But Hazard is a big admirer of Zidane and it is suggested that the 46-year-old could be the key to persuading him to extend his stay in west London.

Hazard has been at Chelsea since joining them from Lille in 2012.

He has won two Premier League crowns, one FA Cup, one League Cup and one Europa League.
